How to Consign at Georgie Girl
Howdy! Thanks for thinking of us!
Consignment is our favourite part of Georgie Girl. Your special way of seeing something amazing in each and every garment rocks our soul!
That being said…we are looking for:
- Authentic vintage and retro garments in good and clean condition. We represent all era’s from the 1940′s to the 1980′s. Anything older than that is welcome, and very rare, and would be considered very special.
- Current fashions, designer and classic, high quality and “un-mall”, boutique style.
- Accessories such as handbags, jewelery, designer sunglasses, high quality footwear, belts and scarfs.
- Vintage home decor items, such as telephones, lamps, clocks, small furniture items and china.
- Kitchy stuff (Feel free to call us on that one! We consult our mascot Buster for kitsch factor. See Buster above. We like him. 250-860-0307)
Spring and Summer fashions are welcome from December to June and Fall and Winter fashions from July to November. For best results, we suggest that consigners break up their drop off’s into the 4 seasons.
Our consignment percentage is 40% to consigners. We tag and price all garments according to the determination of original value, condition, popularity and seasonality.
We use a current and sophisticated consignment system to track your items and will print a list of all your consignments for you.
Please bring in garments clean and pressed. We steam and prep your items for you, but the better they appear, the better your return!
NO appointment is required. Hours for consignment are: Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 4:30. Yup, Sunday, too!
